About us

We are five Childrens homes located on site at Bladon House School. Our young people have moderate to severe learning disabilities and associated difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Prada -Willi syndrome and communication difficulties.

The Role

As a Team Leader at Bladon House School you will support the house manager to lead one of many residential teams. This is a varied position leading a house of 15 staff to supporting the young people in the home, community and at school. You will organise and plan your shifts and support your team to achieve positive outcome for our young people. You will develop care planning through attending meetings, contributing to reviews and liaising with external agencies.

You will lead by example, promoting positive interaction with young people and support the development needs of your team.

About us

Rowden House School, part of West Midlands Learning Campus, is a well-established service provider offering education and care for young people aged 11-19 years old with moderate to severe learning difficulties, some of whom are on the autistic spectrum and at times may present challenging behaviour.

The Role

You will support the young people to attend our onsite school, access the community and develop life skills. This will also include administering medication and delivering personal care.

Aran Hall School – Support Worker – Full Time – 2 on / 4 off – 8am to 10pm

We would like support workers to join our ever growing team here at Aran Hall School. We provide 52 week residential care with education to children and young people with a range of learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour.

You’ll be a role model and mentor and you’ll play a key part in supporting our young people. The role can be tough and challenging but it’s always incredibly rewarding.

We are looking for people with a passion for working with young people who have excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not essential as we are able to offer the training and support required.

You will join a team of experienced professionals and attend regular training sessions to ensure you have up to date knowledge to enable you to provide the highest quality of care. You will support the young people within the home environment and classroom, teaching life skills like cooking, cleaning and giving academic support.

You will also be involved in the regular planning of activities to suit the interests of the young people you care for e.g. gaming, local walks and playing football. We expect all staff to be proactive and forward planning in this area to ensure the young people have access to a wide range of hobbies.

We are now currently looking for a Deputy Shift Manager to join the care management team. If you think you are ready for the next step in your career this opportunity could be for you.

The successful candidate will support and assist the Shift Manager to lead and manage a team of residential support staff. To do this effectively you should have previous experience in working with those with learning disabilities and have successfully managed or led a care team.

You should be Level 3 (Health & Social Care) qualified or willing to work towards this qualification. You will have high standards and expect the same of your team.

Aran Hall School – Support Worker – Full Time – 8am – 10pm (every other weekend off)

The Role

You will join a team of experienced professionals and attend regular training sessions to ensure you have up to date knowledge to enable you to provide the highest quality of care. You will support the young people within the classroom and the home environment, giving academic support as well as teaching life skills like cooking and cleaning.
