We are currently looking for an ASDAN Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to plan, prepare and deliver challenging ASDAN sessions which meet the needs of all the Young Adults within our care and enable them to meet learning objectives and make sustained progress.
We are looking for someone who is committed to ensuring the Young People can achieve their full potential and establish fair, respectful, trusting and supportive relationships with them.
The successful candidate should have experience of working with young adults and either hold or be willing to work towards the Level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivilant qualification. Experience of delivering LD Modules would be advantageous.

The Role
As a Team Leader at Bladon House School you will support the house manager to lead one of many residential teams on condensed rolling rota pattern of 3 on – 3 off (7.15am – 10pm).
This is a varied position leading a house of 15 staff to supporting the young people in the home, community and at school. You will organise and plan your shifts and support your team to achieve positive outcome for our young people. You will develop care planning through attending meetings, contributing to reviews and liaising with external agencies.
You will lead by example, promoting positive interaction with young people and support the development needs of your team.

About Orchard End…
Orchard End is a community based residential home for six adults aged from their 20s through to their 60s. We are able to provide specialist support for people with learning difficulties, as well as visual impairments, deafness and epilepsy. We pride activities for our residents to enjoy. Our staff and service users regularly go swimming, do pottery and engage with our local community at church, garden centres, the library, coffee mornings, and social clubs.
What does the role of Support Worker involve?
You will provide any support required to the residents of Orchard End, this can include personal care, administering medication, teaching life skills, completing paperwork and arranging activities.
While this role can be challenging at times, and there is a lot to learn, we offer a robust induction programme that will well equip you to provide exceptional care. We are also lucky to have long standing staff members, some of whom have been with us for 15 years, who are more than happy to support you in your journey to become an exceptional social care practitioner.
The training provided is specific to our residents needs, for example when supporting deaf service users, you will need to ensure you are aware of how best to communicate with them, for example using Makaton sign language, pictures, timetables and ensuring they have access to hobbies they enjoy – for example a favourite audio book to listen to! You will also attend ongoing training in areas such as Safeguarding Adults, First Aid, Autism Awareness, Epilepsy Awareness and many more.

We are seeking a part time Social Care Practitioner to ensure the safety and care of the residents we support. It is an average of 12 hours per week on a two week rolling rota. The hours will be 9.00am – 5.00pm – Friday, Saturday & Sunday – every other weekend.

Park House is a community based residential home for up to nine young adults with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. It is situated in the town of Bromyard within two minutes’ walk of the town centre. Contained within the main home there is also a flat which consist of bedroom, lounge and kitchen facilities.
This enables residents to live in a semi-supported environment, for young adults making their next step towards independent living.
About the role:
We are seeking Social Care Practitioners to support the young adults that we care for. We are looking for pro-active individuals who can demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for our young people. You will be providing personal care to residents as well as supporting them in a wide range of learning, development and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips and social occasions.
The role will involve working a condensed rota of 7.30am – 9.30pm on 2 on – 4 off basis over a six week rolling pattern, including some weekends and also includes up to three sleep ins per month.
No previous experience is required as full training will be given.
