Aran Hall School

38 to 52 week residential Age: Mixed 11-19

At Aran Hall School we provide residential care with education to children and young people with a range of learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders, both with associated severe challenging behaviour.

Welcome from the head

At Aran Hall School, we understand that the choice of school for your child is an extremely important one for any parent or carer. We want to be the right school and aspire to offer placements that will be long term and successful. We hope that this prospectus will give you lots of interesting and useful information about why Aran Hall School could be the right place for your child.

Our school is located in a picturesque rural location in Gwynedd, North Wales. We are near to the bustling market town of Dolgellau; and set within the Eryri National Park.  Our pupils are able to explore the mountain ranges and beautiful coastline that are both local to this area.

We provide a flexible 38 – 52 week residential care with education to children and young people with a range of learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders, both with associated challenging behaviour.

By providing care and education on the same site we ensure that children’s individual programmes are delivered consistently. Our focus is to provide a safe, stable and nurturing environment where young people’s skills and aspirations can be encouraged.

We develop education, care and behavioural management programmes for each pupil. These programmes are evidence-based and enable us to demonstrate students’ achievements. Our innovative program is evaluated in published clinical research.

The best way to be sure about which school is right for your child is to visit and decide for yourself. Let the team here offer you a warm welcome, give you a tour of the school and explain our unique Achieve program.  Please contact us to arrange a visit or to answer any questions you may have.
