Pegasus School Celebrates Holi, The Hindu Festival of Colour

Pegasus School marked the Hindu festival of Holi with a vibrant colour run held in the school’s rural grounds. All classes joined the event, with students completing laps of a marked outdoor course while safe coloured powder created bright clouds around them.

The celebration provided an opportunity for students to explore colour and movement in an open setting that supports Pegasus School’s commitment to first‑hand experiences and outdoor learning. The school’s large rural environment and emphasis on experiential activities play an important role in meeting the needs of students with diverse learning profiles.

As a community that welcomes students with a wide range of backgrounds and needs, Pegasus School values opportunities to recognise and take part in cultural celebrations. Events like Holi help broaden students’ experiences and encourage curiosity, participation and connection with others. The colour run allowed students to enjoy time outdoors, strengthen peer relationships and take part in an inclusive activity that was accessible to all!
