End‑of‑Term Celebrations at Pegasus School

As the term came to a close, pupils at Pegasus School took part in an evening Easter celebration that provided an exciting end to the week. Some young people gathered after tea for a small disco, with music and disco lights creating a relaxed atmosphere where they could spend time together and enjoy the occasion.

Events like this link closely with Pegasus School’s aims to help pupils build social relationships, develop confidence and take part in shared experiences, all of which form part of the school’s wider approach to personal development. These opportunities also reflect the school values of Be Happy and Be a Good Friend, which encourage pupils to engage positively with others within a safe and supportive setting.

Evening activities also offer additional chances for pupils to practise communication skills and participate in experiences that support emotional regulation and wellbeing. These moments connect with the school’s curriculum focus on helping young people develop motivation, confidence and resilience as they work towards greater independence and prepare for future learning and adult life.

The end‑of‑term disco provided a positive close to the week for those who took part. After such a full term, pupils and staff are now looking forward to a well‑deserved break!
