Pegasus School is a residential care setting for young people with complex needs, including Autism and learning difficulties.
In order to maintain the privacy and dignity of our young ladies who require support with their intimate personal care, we are seeking an additional female Night Waking Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school’s OUTSTANDING Care Team.
The role will include:
- Supporting and developing our young people within the home, including undertaking personal care
- Being awake and alert throughout the night, undertaking checks on our young people throughout the shift and relaying all relevant information to our day Care team
- Managing behaviour within a close team
- Following all necessary procedures

- Have experience of working with autism, mental health needs and challenging behaviour
- Show adaptability, sound values and resilience at work and have a desire to make a lasting difference to the lives of our very individual young people
- Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
You should have experience of working in a residential school / care setting and with children and young people and hold a relevant L3 Diploma (or be willing to work towards achieving this).
