About Us
Orchard End provides residential support for adults aged 18 years and over, who have a severe learning disability, autism, communication difficulties, challenging behaviours, mental health and other complex needs.
Job Info:
We are seeking to recruit a Night Support Worker to ensure the safety of our residents during the night.
If successful you will be required to stay attentive throughout the night, complete regular checks and do everything necessary to safeguard the residents of Orchard End.
You will also ensure a high standard of personal care for each resident and carry out a variety of domestic work, typically deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, ironing and updating paperwork.
If you have the right values for our organisation, you will be supported by a programme of continuous training, learning and development.
Criteria
The successful applicant will have the ability to work under pressure and working with potentially challenging behaviours, be able to communicate with residents effectively and be able to show commitment to the well-being of the residents. Experience in the personal care and hygiene of another person and within a residential setting would be required.
Due to our rural location, it is vital candidates have their own means of transport.
