Over the last few weeks we have become a Sun Safe Schools accredited school. All of the classes have worked incredibly hard creating displays and learning about the importance of being sun safe.

We held a Sun Safe School assembly where the children participated in activities, choosing good and bad choices of clothing to wear in the sun and learning the Makaton signs too.

We have UV monitors for the nominated class to check how harmful the rays are and to email this to each class and give out advice to be safe in the sun.
