A group on young people chose to participate in a canal boat trip on Wednesday 11th April, hosted by the wonderful Willow Trust staff at Saul Junction, on the Gloucester to Sharpness canal.

Five boats arrived on time and students cruised off toward Purton for a picnic, then returning after three hours on the canal. All residents took the opportunity to steer the Leonard Matchan, guided by John, the captain.

Thanks to the staff who came in especially to enable the trip to happen
