About us

We are a residential school for school and young adults aged 5 – 19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties. Through our work we have also developed skills in achieving significant progress and successful outcomes for children and young people with Prader Willi Syndrome.

Our goal is to help our residents reach their potential, build resilience, gain independence and inspire a love for learning.

We have an onsite farm and horticultural area and our young people have access to a wide range of activities such as drumming and rock climbing.

 

The Role

If successful you will support young people within the home, school and out in the community supporting them to learn new skills and gain independence. This can mean supporting with cooking, cleaning, personal care and administering medication (once fully trained).

Essential Criteria

– Candidates must be willing to undertake accredited courses within the time set

– Candidates must able and willing to work shifts that include some evening and weekends

– It is essential that you have a natural respect for the individuality and dignity of those in our care
