Pegasus school is delighted to welcome two new additions to its on‑site farm: Bobby and Eddie, two 10‑week‑old kid goats. The young goats have quickly become popular around the school, offering pupils opportunities to engage with animals in a calm, nurturing environment. Caring for and observing animals plays an important role in supporting pupils’ emotional regulation, responsibility and connection with the world around them.
Alongside the arrival of Bobby and Eddie, the school has also begun incubating eggs. The process provides a valuable learning opportunity, encouraging discussion, observation and prediction as pupils eagerly wait to see which animals may join the farm next.

With the recent warm weather, pupils have been able to spend more time outdoors, taking full advantage of Pegasus School’s rural setting. Outdoor learning and animal‑assisted experiences are embedded into the school’s approach, recognising the positive impact these activities can have on wellbeing, confidence and engagement.
Moments like these reflect Pegasus School’s commitment to providing rich, hands‑on experiences that support learning, growth and a strong sense of belonging within the school community.
