Meet the team at Hope House School…

Michelle McRae
Head Teacher
Since qualifying as a teacher, Michelle has been fortunate to have worked across a varied spectrum of educational provision. For a large part of her career, she worked as a specialist teacher for the Lincolnshire Behaviour Support Service, providing multi-agency interventions, family support and teacher training in both classroom and behaviour management. For over 7 years, Michelle led an SEMH AP for students aged 4 to 16, which was the 13th school in the UK to be awarded the prestigious Trauma Informed Schools Award. Michelle has more recently set up a new therapeutic intervention school for a large academy trust in Buckinghamshire. A recent Ofsted inspection recognised the new school and trust as being an outstanding provision.

Miriam Reynolds
Deputy Headteacher– SENDCo
Miriam has worked in a range of schools across Lincolnshire since qualifying as a Teacher, including Mainstream, Special and Alternative Provision. She is an experienced school leader and has worked on several innovative curriculum developments throughout her career. She is also an experienced SENDCo and holds the National SENCo qualification. Currently working towards her NPQH, Miriam leads on Curriculum and assessment here at Hope House School.

Shirley Turlukowsky
HR Manager
Shirley is a qualified HR Manager and a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development; she has many years of experience at senior management level and has a practical understanding of business needs and a comprehensive background of people and business development. Shirley is responsible for all HR and staff-related procedures and compliance for the school.
