Location: Rowden House School,
Part Time – Waking Night Support Worker
Salary range: up to £10.91 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience), Friday – Sunday nights (inclusive) – every other week.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that each young person is supported and cared for throughout the night in accordance with the highest professional standards, policies and procedures of the school. The successful applicant will join a small team and have the ability to work under pressure and be able to show commitment to the well-being of the young people.
You will be required to stay attentive throughout the night and do everything possible to safeguard the young people who we support. This can include administering medication, updating paperwork and delivering a high standard of personal care.
You will also be required at times to carry out a variety of domestic work, typically deep cleaning bathrooms & kitchens, and ironing.

Rowden House School is a residential setting for children aged 8- 19 with severe learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours. We aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment, along with the tools needed to enable our residents to reach their academic potential while also focusing on teaching skills that will support them throughout their life.
You will be required to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday every other week, the shift hours are 9:45pm – 7:45am.
Due to our rural location, it is vital candidates have their own means of transport.
