Salary

Salary: £15,834.00 – £18,681.00 dependent on experience and qualifications

Contract: Full time – 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks

Rowden House School is a residential setting for children aged 8- 19 with severe learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours.

We aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment, along with the tools needed to enable our residents to reach their academic potential while also focusing on teaching life skills that will support them throughout their life.

 

We are looking to recruit full time Residential Support Workers to assist our residents within the school as well as in the home environment. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about promoting independence and providing the best care possible.

Applicants do not need to have relevant experience as full training will be providing for the right person. It is, however, essential that you are well organised, resilient and willing to learn.

As a Residential Support Worker you will support within the school, plan activities & day trips, attend regular training sessions and deliver personal care.

Essential Criteria

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the following:

– The ability to work under pressure in challenging circumstances

– An ability to identify and undertake any training necessary to develop within the role

– A natural respect for the dignity and individuality of residents.

– A valid current driving licence.

– Basic ICT skills
