Salary

Salary: Up to £22,620.00 pro rata(dependent on qualifications & experience)

Full and Part Time Available

Rota

3 week rolling pattern including early and late shift as follows:

Early      – 07:15 – 15:15

Late        – 14:30 – 21:45

 The Role

As a Support Worker at Pegasus School you will deliver care and guidance to the residents within the home, out in the community and in school. We recognise that when they are happy students are more likely to be engaged in their learning and make better progress. As a Support Worker at Pegasus School you will work alongside the best in their field, receive excellent training & progression opportunities and, most importantly, leave work knowing you have made a real difference.

Duties include:

  • Delivering personal care
  • Administering medication (once you have received the necessary training)
  • Promoting independence
  • Planning and taking part in a range of activities

About us

Pegasus School is a residential school for young people aged 8 to 19 years with severe learning disabilities, autism and associated challenging behaviour. Many of our students also have mental health and therapy needs.

We believe that students should be happy, have fun and enjoy their learning and we need our exceptional team to make that happen! We improve the lives of students by supporting and encouraging them to choose activities and by introducing them to new experiences and opportunities.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (Ask about our £1500 bonus for Care Assistants who join us with this qualification!)
