The SENAD Group provide specialist education, care and community support for the most complex, vulnerable and hard to place young people and adults. Our services work with people with autism, mild to severe learning difficulties, mental health and challenging behaviour. We operate schools, care homes and community support packages predominantly across the East and West Midlands area and North Wales.

We are now seeking to recruit a talented and dynamic Health & Safety professional to help manage all aspects of risk management and our health and safety provision for staff and those in our care. With significant previous experience of working in a Health & Safety role for a regulated, people-based sector such as Education, Supported Living, Social Care or Health you will review and further develop sound policy and practice across our settings and provide best practice advice and practical support in areas such as Risk Assessment, Infection Control, Accident Avoidance and Medication procedures.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to work across the UK with frequent travel across all SENAD locations, be Degree educated (or equivalent) and have an industry recognised qualification such as the NEBOSH Diploma or IOSH. In addition, candidates must have proven ability to risk assess to enable, not restrict safe activity as well as have experience of reporting RIDDOR and working with the HSE.
