Bladon House School is an award winning specialist school and post 16 provision for children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties, located on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border it has good transport links from Derby City, Burton on Trent and beyond.

The school is very well equipped and prepared for Outdoor Education and our cohort of students thrive on the opportunity to be outside and develop their relationship with the natural world whether it is in our own outdoor classroom, on our school farm or out in the wider community.

The school specialises in Autism, Challenging Behaviour, Speech & Language Disorders and Prader Willi Syndrome. As a result, you will work alongside an excellent Therapy team and be part of a truly multi-disciplinary approach to secure the best possible outcomes for young people.

The school benefits from having a working farm on site and given our small class sizes and creative curriculum, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Forest School practitioner to bring ideas, new activities and enthusiasm to our Outdoor Education curriculum. You will work with our already established and knowledgeable Outdoor Education Instructor to provide a well-rounded curriculum to our young people. This approach makes Bladon House a fantastic place to work, thrive and learn!
