At Aran Hall School we provide 52 week residential care with education to children and young
people with a range of learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders, both with associated challenging behaviour.
We are looking for people with a passion for working with children who have excellent
communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not essential as we are able to offer the training and support required.
You will join a team of experienced professionals and attend regular training sessions to ensure you have up to date knowledge to enable you to provide the highest quality of care. You will support the young people within the classroom and the home environment, giving academic support as well as teaching life skills like cooking and cleaning.
The position also involves planning and carrying out a range of activities to suit the interests of the children you care for. We expect all staff to be proactive and forward planning in this area to ensure the children have access to a wide range of hobbies.
The SENAD Group is dedicated to equality of opportunity in all areas of work, education and care.
We are committed to safeguarding those in our care; all employees are required to obtain an
Enhanced DBS Disclosure and follow safeguarding policy and practice.
