Working within a residential setting, you will assist students with a range of care activities in the home and support students’ needs during leisure activities and school holiday periods. You will promote choice at every opportunity. All staff must be flexible and willing to work shifts that include some evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
Successful applicants should be enthusiastic, patient and understanding. You should be able to undertake a challenge and provide high standards of care to our young people. You should also be able to work well in a team as well as using your own initiative. You do not need qualifications as we provide a full induction and training to Diploma level 3. Experience of working in a similar
setting would be an advantage, but is not essential, you do however need to be committed to safeguarding those in our care.
The SENAD Group is dedicated to equality of opportunity in all areas of work, education and care. We are also committed to safeguarding those in our care – all successful candidates will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check and will be subject to thorough background checks.
