Teddy is our school dog.
Dogs can provide comfort and support and help reduce stress. They can also improve social, cognitive and emotional functioning; all of which will be of benefit to our children. Teddy will be in school for the children, for a variety of reasons:
?To visit as a treat
?To play with
?To take for walks – to encourage physical activity and coordination.
?To cuddle if upset
?To support children to overcome their fear of dogs
?To read with
?Staff members can also request time with her!
