Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form Centre is a day and residential school for students with Speech, Language and Communication Needs, namely High Functioning Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome
This is an exciting opportunity to join our existing domestic team. The post is based at Alderwasley Hall School Sixth Form in Wirksworth and involves carrying out cleaning duties within our residential school. You will be responsible for cleaning all living areas including bathrooms, kitchen areas and classrooms. Experience would be of an advantage but not Essential. Due to the Schools rural location your own transport may be required.

We have domestic vacancies across two of our sites (OneNineFive and Ecclesbourne Lodge), we are willing to accept applicants from candidates who are wanting to work across one or both sites.
OneNineFive and Ecclesbourne Lodge, are both residential homes for people with complex learning difficulties and challenges that require specialised ‘person centred’ support in a caring yet productive environment. OneNineFive is based in Burton on Trent (DE15 0LB) and Ecclesbourne Lodge is based in Duffield (DE56 4AQ).
We are able to consider any of the following working patterns:
– 27.5 hours per week to work across both locations
– 16 hours per week to work across both locations; or
– 8 hours per week working at just one of the sites
The working times are flexible.
– Providing a specific and focused cleaning service across both homes
– Raising the overall cleaning standards and enhancing the environment
– Maintaining a high standard of health and safety at all times
– Previous relevant experience is desirable
