Aran Hall School Post 16

When our students reach the age of 16 they are encouraged to attend one of the local colleges to experience an educational setting outside of the school.

With the support of staff, our students have achieved national exam success and completed vocational award schemes.

Students who are unable to access local college undertake a curriculum which concentrates on developing life skills, increasing levels of independence and self-help abilities. They also continue to develop basic skills in literacy and numeracy.

Students are supported to take part in work experience in the local community. Placements have included; cafes, forestry commission, boarding kennels and the local zoo.
