Vacancies at Pegasus School, Derbyshire

Pegasus – Residential Support Worker – Waking Night Ref: PEG/RSWWN

Pegasus School is an independent specialist day and residential school for young people aged 8 to 19 years with severe learning disabilities, autism and associated challenging behaviour. Many of our students also have mental health and therapy needs.

Students have personalised and individualized programmes, designed by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to support the young person to make progress, develop skills and engage socially with others.

We currently have excellent opportunities for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who want to be part of a company who provide outstanding quality of care.

We are seeking to recruit Night Support Workers to ensure the safety of the young people we support during the night.

If successful you will be required to carry out a variety of domestic work, typically deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, ironing and updating paperwork as well as staying attentive throughout the night and doing everything possible to safeguard the young people we support.

If you have no previous experience but are willing to learn and want a fulfilling and rewarding career, we would still like to hear from you.

If you have the right values for our organisation, you will be supported by a programme of continuous training, learning and development.

Due to our location, it is vital candidates have their own means of transport.
